Terms and Conditions

  1. Classes are only suitable for students of 16 years of age or over unless otherwise stated in the class title and description.
  2.  The appropriate standard fee is payable unless the student is in full time education or in receipt of full benefits when the appropriate discounted class price is payable.
  3. The Centre has the right to amend timetabled classes/workshops or designated teachers as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
  4. Students who think they have a health condition which may affect their ability to practise yoga, should consult their doctor before  registering for classes.
Students must inform the Centre, and/or their teacher, of any health issues on class registration.
Students must inform the Centre, and in particular their own teacher, of any change in health, a known or new pregnancy or recent surgery and, if about to take a class, must do so before the start of class.
Your personal information is confidential and will not be shared.
The Centre cannot be responsible for any failure to take a health issue into account in its teaching if neither the student’s teacher nor the Centre has been so informed.
  5. Cancellation of a full term/workshop/event booking, with 100% refund, is accepted up to 72 hours before the start date of the new term/workshop/event. Classes are limited in size and booking constitutes a reserved place in the Centre.
  6. After start date of the new term or the date(s) of workshops or events, the Centre does not give refunds unless circumstances are exceptional; these are;
new illnesses, new injuries (for either of which the Centre may require a doctor’s certificate), new pregnancies or bereavement.
This would mean the student is unable to make up any missed classes within the term, or that the student was unable to attend the full series of workshops or events.
A student must apply for refund to the Centre and the amount due will be in respect of the date of application. The Centre reserves the right to charge an administration fee of £20 for managing a refund.
  7. Bookings cannot be transferred to another person.
  8. The personal use of mobile phones, cameras or recording equipment is not permitted in a class or workshop.
  9. Within the first 2 weeks of a new term, students may change their booking from one class to another within the same term at no extra cost if there are spaces available in the preferred class.
  10. If a student misses booked classes, these may be made up at any other class at the same or lower level in the Centre at any time within the same term if spaces are available in the chosen class. They may not be carried over or transferred to a later term.
  11. The Centre reserves the right to refuse a student entry to a class if deemed for any reason, perhaps age or ability or illness, to be unsuitable or unable to practice yoga as taught at that time in the Centre.
  12. The Centre reserves the right to refuse entry to the Centre of any student who has in any way disrupted a class or made it difficult for other students to enjoy the benefit of the class.
  13. Although we do our best to keep an eye on personal property, the Centre cannot be responsible for the safekeeping of valuables left unattended. There are no secure lockers on the premises so please consider the items you bring to the Centre.
  14. Bicycle racks are available outside the Centre but bicycles are left at owner's risk. The Centre does not accept responsibility for any property left at the bicycle racks.
  15. Items of clothing left at the Centre are kept in a "lost property" box. We dispose of accumulated lost property at the end of each term.
