Face to Face Centre Class / Main room


This is a 'face to face' class at The Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre. You must book your class online.
Please do not "Drop In" at the Centre without booking!

All the equipment you need is available at the Centre but you are welcome to bring your own mat/blocks if you prefer.

BEGINNERS


If you are new to Iyengar yoga this class is for you and will introduce you to the fundamental postures (asanas) which will leave your mind calmer and your body stronger.


It is suitable for everybody and especially complete beginners and those unfamiliar with Iyengar yoga. 
 

Professional profile

I feel lucky to have discovered Iyengar Yoga whilst a student in Edinburgh in my late teens.  From the start I loved its precision and focus on alignment, and the energy and strength it gave me.  

Years later Iyengar Yoga continues to be a central part of my life.  I regularly attend classes at Bruntsfield and workshops with visiting teachers.  

I gained my Level 1 teaching certificate in 2020 and am now very excited to be able to share my love of yoga with others.
