This is a studio class at The Edinburgh Iyengar Yoga Centre. Classes are booked online up to an hour before the start of the class.
Please do not come to a class at the Centre without booking. We are sorry but there are no spaces for last a minute "Drop In".
All the equipment you need is at the Centre but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

GENERAL
For those students who have practised Iyengar yoga for 2 years or on the advice of their teacher.
A wider range of asanas will be taught, including helping you to learn and develop confidence in the inverted poses sirsasana (headstand) and sarvangasana (shoulder stand); alternatives will be offered as appropriate.
I was probably about 14 when I first attended yoga classes in my local school but it was while living in New Zealand I discovered Iyengar yoga and was immediately hooked.
I qualified as a teacher in 2007 and in 2018 gained Junior Intermediate 2 which is now known as level 2.
I delight in the fact that yoga can be practised by all and I enjoy seeing how people progress. I am constantly learning not only from the classes I attend but also from students.
